In 2023, Çanakkale faced one of the most severe wildfire disasters in its history, with more than 7,500 hectares of forest and natural land affected.

Following these devastating wildfires, Skål International Troy launched an initiative as part of its social responsibility and environmental awareness efforts to strengthen local wildfire preparedness and first-response capabilities.

As part of this initiative, a water tanker trailer was donated to the Çınarlı Village Administration, enabling the local community to respond more quickly in the event of future wildfires and helping protect the surrounding forests and natural environment.

With the valuable support and sponsorship of the Austrian Consulate, local community organizations, prominent members of Skål International Troy, and Mildon Holding, this exemplary project was brought to life.

To mark the occasion and formally hand over the donated water tanker trailer, Skål International Troy will hold a handover ceremony at the Çınarlı Village Headman's Office.

This initiative reflects our shared commitment to protecting our forests, strengthening local communities, and safeguarding our natural heritage for future generations.
