Empowering Our Future Through Knowledge, Learning and Connection

Training is not simply about gaining knowledge, it is about strengthening our Skål family, inspiring our members, and ensuring that every member understands the true value of belonging to the world’s largest network of tourism and hospitality professionals.

In a constantly changing industry, continuous learning is what keeps us connected, relevant, and prepared for the future. Every Skål member has a story, experience, and perspective to share, and through education we create stronger Clubs, stronger leaders, and stronger connections across our global organisation.

The Skål International Training Committee is committed to making learning accessible, engaging, and practical for all our members. We currently offer four different formats designed to suit different learning styles and time commitments /training:

                        - Short 1-minute reels highlighting membership benefits that can easily be shared at Club meetings
                        - "Skål Talks” podcasts of 7–14 minutes where we explore the value of membership through meaningful conversations
                        - Longer, educational podcasts of between 35-50 minutes covering a variety of topics relevant to our organisation and industry
                        - Nine interactive quizzes that allow members to discover Skål history, organisational structures, and membership benefits in a fun, engaging, and time efficient way.

However, the most valuable resource we have is our members themselves. We want to hear from you. What topics would inspire you? What knowledge would help you grow? What conversations would bring more value to your Skål journey? Your ideas and input will guide us in creating content that truly reflects the needs and interests of our global membership.

Because a strong organisation is built not only on tradition, but on the willingness to learn, adapt, and grow together. When we invest in our members, we invest in the future of Skål.

Knowledge creates confidence. Learning creates leaders. And together, we create a stronger Skal for generations to come.
